I decided to go with pale blue as opposed to pink, mainly because the last 1/2 dozen or so engagement and wedding cards I've made have been pink themed, so time for a change.
I use a good strong dimple card for my base's which I buy from Blue Edge Crafts in A4 sheets.
The pattern paper I have used is a shimmer embossed paper by Christina Re 120gsm called Luxury Lustre Paper and I bought this from Office Works.
The flowers are from Green Tara and the sizes used are 3 of the 1.5cm in blue, 3 of the 1.5cm in White and 6 x 1cm in white. These were all glued into place using my hot glue gun.
The ribbon is 1/2" wide Organdie white swirl from Kaszazz, as is the sticky bling word 'Love'
The Bride and Groom is a Kaszazz stamp 4319KE.
I used Stampin Up's Marina Mist ink pad and a sponge to lightly ink all the edges as well as to stamp the Bride & Groom.
I used Couture Creations heart dies to cut the box lid and the acetate behind the cut out was embossed with a Spellbinders double sided embossing folder.
To finish the box lid before gluing the sides, I punched the edges with a Stampin Up doily border punch, then inked the edges before wrapping more of the organdie ribbon around, the ends were adhered inside the corner joins so no joints are showing.
I really enjoy making these double easel cards, and they are so easy to do.
