Triple Heart Easel Card

I saw something like this a year or so and had it in the back of my mind as something I'd like to do at some point in time. Well that point finally arrived and here is my version. I think according to my idea notepad that the original idea, or at least the one I saw was by Sara Sandburg of Cardmaking Paradise, I didn't actually write down a lot of details, stupid I know because I'd like to give credit where it's due.

After a comment regarding a pattern, I located the original. It can be found here: http://www.cardmakingparadise.com/triple_heart_easel_card.html

For my card, I used Stampin Up Concord Crush and Almost Amythest card stock, Spellbinders M-Bossabilities EL-003 embossing folder, this folder is one of the double sided ones, and I used the inside design. The gems are by Kaiser. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's sale-A-Bration 2012 Elementary Elegance stamp set and I used a Stampin Up punch to cut it out.

The dies I used to cut my hearts are Couture Creations nesting dies, and I got them from Blue Edge Crafts., I used matting circle to enlarge the hearts enough for the base's. After embossing, I swiped Crushed Concord ink over the surface to highlight the emboss. The flower is a Prima flower.

I really like the way this card has turned out and will definitely be making more.

For Valentines day this would make a stunning card, I've made this into a birthday card but really it could also be a lovely wedding card.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, any comments you may leave would be most appreciated.

Hugs and Happy Crafting,
Beth
