Ballerina Tilda in Blue

11th January 2013

I had coloured my Tilda image with Copics, and fussy cut her out, then had no idea what I was going to do with her.

It took 3 days of looking at her sitting all lonely on my work desk before inspiration hit and I actually got working on her background. I decided to do a layout I've done many times before, but decided to limit myself to scraps.

After rummaging through my paper and card scraps, this is what I finished up with. Of course the flowers and bling aren't scraps, but I felt it needed some finishing touches.

The card can be for any occasion, which is why there is no sentiment on it. That will come when the time comes to use the card.

It's been so long since I last spent some time colouring in an image that I now wonder why on earth I left it so long, I find it very restful. Maybe it the connecting with my inner child, what child doesn't like colouring in?

Thank you for visiting my blog and checking out my latest creation.

Hugs,
Beth

I agree with you Beth...it is so relaxing to colour. Takes you to another whole world. Love colouring you have done and all those papers look so good together.
