Engagement Card

Yesterday I was asked to make an engagement card.

This is what I came up with. The base card is A4 Majestic Shimmer card in cream,  scored and folded into a gate fold card. There are two layers to the decorative front panels, the first layer is pink Majestic shimmer card and the top layer is  Docrafts Papermania 12x12 glitter vellum.
The heart is die cut in two parts from an off white majestic card, firstly the base heart outline, then the heart frame out of the same card. The sentiment is gold peel off stickers

Inside,  I used the Love section of 'Garden of Love' die and decorated the corners with peel off stickers and the die cut with pearls.

These are the two die sets I used, and the link between them should take you to their web site. You can also  buy these beautiful dies from Blue Edge Crafts.

I hope you like my latest engagement card.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you come back soon.

Cheers!

Tilda's Travels

I recently bought a new Tilda stamp, I actually bought a new Edwin one as well, but I've not used him yet.
The sitting Tilda in this one I've had for quite some time, but she goes beautifully with the travel trunk at the crossroads.

Tilda is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto plain white card.then coloured with Copics.
the image was then cut out using Spellbinders Nestabilities Decorative Elements Floral Ovals largest die, which I embossed and sponged the edges of before removing from the die.

Stampin Up's Pink Pirouette and Pacific Point card stock was used to mat DSP's from the Brights colour range. These were layered onto the reverse of the Spotted pink DSP.

I used a couple of Stampin Up punches to cut out the sentiment mat's, and the sentiment it'self comes from Stampin Up's Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

The pale pink pearl embellishment is from Paper Xtra, and the roses are from Green Tara.

I punched two butterflies from scraps of DSP's from the Subtles range, and adhered them together in the centre. the top wings were covered with stickles.
The only other thing is a scrap of ribbon knotted across the blue mat.

I hope you like my travelling Tilda.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. Hope to see you again soon.
Hugs

Pop Up Card Using Stampin Up's Dress Model

I just love the effect of this card.
I've made two using the same Designer Series Paper pack, different sentiments and Kaszazz Notions stamps to embellish. I will list all the items used and their catalogue number after the pictures.

Stampin Up Decorative Label punch 120907
Stampin Up Apothecary Art Stamp set 125527
Kaszazz Notions Stamp set of 6 4540M
Tape Measure Ribbon  - purchased from Spotlight
Scraps of  white dimple card - purchased from Blue Edge Crafts

The cards fit perfectly into a standard envelope. The Stampin Up envelopes are perfect and excellent quality.

The SU Dress Up Framelits dies, are a set of three dies, one is a dress form, (which fits perfectly over the dress from cut with the Dress Form Pop 'n' cut die which fits into the Card base Pop 'n' cut in the same manner that the Tim Holtz Alterations Movers and Shapers dies work, they are to a degree interchangeable). The other two dies in the set are two styles of dress, I've used one in the pink card, and the other in the green card.

The Kaszazz Notions stamps were stamped onto white dimple card scraps and fussy cut out.

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you found a little inspiration.

Bella Bleu

The following 10 card set is inspired by Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft.
In their Vol 19 No 4 they have this quick and easy 10 card set designed by Julie Dudley, you will find it on pages 36 & 37.

My set is made using Stampin Up products with only the following exceptions, I used 3 Kaszazz punches for the flower on box 2, a generic brad for the centre, and the closures for each box are basic grey's magnetic closures. The flowers are all from Green Tara. The buttons are from my buttons box which has been a life time in collecting.

For my base cards I used Crumb Cake, and Sahara Sand, each A4 Sheet cut in half will make 1 base cards.

The Designer papers all come from Stampin Up's Bella Bleu set.

The punch for the tags is Decorative Label 120907

The design for box No 1 I got from Splitcoaststampers, it's called Accordion Style card Holder by Jane Matsumoto. However, I was not entirely happy with this style, so box 2 is entirely my own design, and I must admit I'm very happy with it.

As these cards are so basic, and it's easy to see how they have been made, I won't go into any details.
If anyone is interested in my own design box, simply email me and I'll be happy to send you a pdf file with the instructions. (I won't put it here because by the time I insert all 10 cards, and the boxes, we'll be into the middle of next week)

Unstampabelles April Challenge No. 22

Anything BUT a card is the challenge for April over at Unstampabelles. This months prize is sponsored by The Sticker Store, see their banner at the side and go check out their wonderful range of stickers.

My Design Team project for this months challenge is a wooden photo frame which I've painted and decorated.

The frame itself I bought very cheaply from a cheap as chips store ages ago, I think I paid about $1.50, at that price I bought all the stock they had on their shelves, I only have a couple left as I've used quite a few as gifts.

Firstly after taking the wrought Iron stand apart from the wooden frame, I painted the frame in black, I had to give it a good 3 -4 coats, I then used a pearly paint around the edges of the frame finishing with a clear gloss.

I decorated the frame with punched butterflies and both hand made paper flowers and Green Tara paper flowers and leaves.

The inner picture frame (the pink one) is cut and embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing and cutting folder using Core'dinations card. The word Love is from a Bella Embellished chipz set, after adding more flowers and bling everything was put together to produce the frame you see below.

I have made several of these frames, here are a couple more.

Go visit Unstampabelles and enter something using papercraft but Not a card for your chance to win the prize for this months challenge.

Thankyou for visiting my blog today, I hope you found some small measure of inspiration.

Happy Crafting,
Beth
